We produce a small number of replica items,
e.g. replacement loads for trucks, the victorian station building chimney, Sydney
Suburban parts - carriage bodies, rooves, bogies. We plan to modify a Sydney
Suburban power car to produce a parcels van in tri-ang style. We have made a
Minic sized AEC Strachan Bus in the style of the MINIX model because it
always seemed silly that this item was produced to fit the minix box, rather
than to scale. click here to view

We produce a small number of replica items, e.g.
replacement vehicle bodyshells, pavements, and accessories – these are
available from time to time as production allows. Projects include the
Mechanical Horse and parts for the Car Transporter, an AEC Strachan Bus, new
cabs for the lorries, towing bars, pillar boxes, traffic lights, bus shelters
and bus stop etc. We also plan some new shells that will fit well with the
wonderful Minic Motorways range, and eventually the Facel Vega, which was shown
in the 1963 catalogue but not produced ! |

model land ( real estate ) |
Model Land was Tri-ang’s imaginative range of 00
scale buildings for model railways (initially called “Real Estate”). This is
one of the golden products tri-ang produced as part of a fabulous modellers
world in the 1960s. Several of the ML range of buildings were also
available in the 1990s as Dapoland buildings [apparently Dapol acquired some
duplicate ex-Tri-ang tooling in Hong Kong that had been overlooked when
Tri-ang crashed in the early 1970s]. We produce the Brick building parts, roof and
doorway for RML38 Victorian Town House, and these parts also fit above the
single and double modern shop units to make RML44 and 45 from the shop units
(after removing the roof). Also available are the walls and windows to make
RML46 Medium Shop and Modern Office Block. |

arkitex.net |
Tri-ang’s modern building equipment
construction toy produced from 1961 to 1967. The range was produced in two
scales, OO scale to complement Tri-ang trains and Minic Motorways, and 1:42
scale to complement Spot-On diecast model cars (The Spot-On model range was
Tri-ang’s wonderful range of vehicles which were contemporary to the great
Corgi and Dinky toy ranges of the 1960s). The arkitex range is quite extensive, many
pieces are exceptionally rare and consequently difficult to find. We produce
a small number of interesting replica items, e.g. shop windows, nameboards,
stairs and landings, overhanging supports and pillars, plus most of the brick
panels for the apartment set – these items are available from time to time as
production allows, initially in 00 scale.
