as part of the promotion

and press launch

of the facelift MGf 2000

 

Over 9 of the 10 days, an informal evening MGf championship was run (on a four lane race track) for the press attending that day.

the four colours of mgf that were raced at the press launch of the
mgf 2000 facelift in the summer of 1999. These cars were painted by
 MG Rover themselves using "real" paint in the Gaydon Museum / Warwick
workshops !

 

The basic (original) kit is available periodically, for modellers
with reasonable building skills to make as a 1:32 slot car.

When available, a slot kit consists of the following parts...

·       Unpainted resin bodyshell.

·       Plastic, resin or vac formed interior.

·       Vac-form window assembly (may require trimming).

·       Unpainted driver and/or passenger figure(s).

·       Clear or chromed lights (resin or white metal).

·       (Usually) set of waterslide decals for decoration.

·       A.B.S. plastic chassis or interior pan to fit running gear into.

·       Motor, pinion, axle(s), wheels, tyres, guide, wiring, pick-up braids.
