Antiques Centre, Near WOKINGHAM, Berkshire – NOTE - this in not our
mailing address.
WOKINGHAM (the nearest town) is approximately thirty
miles south-west of LONDON (below the M4 motorway as you look at a map), and
the Antiques
Centre is around four miles further south of Wokingham on the B3349. Although
there is a railway station at Wokingham, the Antiques Centre is a bit out of
the way, and not easily accessible without a car.
The
opening
hours are usually 10.45 to 4.45, and a selection of CURRENT models (mostly slot
cars rather than diecast) at discounted prices is on sale at the shop.
The
Antiques Centre staff can serve you from the shop but cannot answer enquiries,
take phone calls, or tell you what else is available. Now, that
might sound a bit odd, but it generally works ok. If you have something to sell
they cannot accept it in our absence.
Please
DO NOT make a special journey to look for obsolete models, because they are
really intended only for Mail Order, and are not on display at the shop.
We
don't want people making wasted journeys or being disappointed, so ring our
mail order number or email us if you want something from any of the lists.
